Like most of my named (as opposed to numbered) pieces, this one tells a very personal story.

And while I won't share the details or specifics of my story, I will share that my use of watercolors with its ethereal and almost tenuous presence on the paper, these specific colors, the rough lines, the unregulated breaching of borders, and uncontrolled mixing of colors was deliberate, purposeful, and accurately captures the complex nature of the very personal story I needed to portray.
